Philippine and Australian
What is your blended heritage?
My mother is from the Philippines and my father is Australian (His grandparents were migrants of Scandinavia). I was born in Australia but I am dual citizen to both the Philippines/Australia and have lived both countries. Although I generally consider myself a citizen of the world, I don’t really know where I truly consider home to be. I understand diversity through culture but I’m not one for nationalism or patriotism. I think the planet ultimately belongs to itself.
What has compelled you to start “The Freedom Code”?
10 years ago I never would have predicted myself having a blog like this. I went to film school and was much more focused in being in front of the camera. I was a professional voice over announcer, worked in radio, did hosting and singing. My life was a lot more centered around my voice and speaking. But quite contrary to the nature of my industry, I have always been quite a loner. I would at times find myself very deep in thought and would just feel the urge to write different passages down. I would type them in the notebook of my phone and save them. Sometimes I would share them with friends or ones enjoyed my thought process and expression of things. But I mostly just kept them to myself.
About 6 months ago I shared a particular writing with a friend and it must of really impacted him in some way because he then INSISTED that I start a blog. That i had to share what I had to say and that the world needed to hear it. To the point that he sent me the links and literally forced me to sign up and think of a blog name. He was based in another country and talked the whole process through to me step by step over the phone without letting me back out. He told me to write down a list of words that intuitively resonated towards, I chose the following words for the following reasons
FREEDOM – represents the liberation from fear, which can only be discovered through ones own energetic truth and authenticity.
CODE – in dedication to Nikola Tesla who dedicated his life to understanding some of these greater codes of the Universe and matrix. That everything ultimately comes down to an understanding of these codes through the nature of sound frequency, vibration, light photons, fractals and blueprints of things such as DNA and cells. That greater knowledge and wisdom can be received through a subatomic perspective
121 – being inspired from the triangle sequence of Pascals mathematical pyramid formula. A significant number which correlates to the likes of the golden phi ratio/Fibonacci sequences of sacred geometry.
And that’s really how thefreedomcode121 was born. More than anything, I really just wanted an avenue to speak my truths from my heart, with the motive of participating in positive change in the world. Even if just a few people listened, it was worth it.
At what age did you know this was your path?
I never really fit into systems well, I always had problems understanding this reality and it’s way of things from a young age. I don’t think I ever fully knew what my path was exactly growing up but I knew it had to do with my voice and the things that I wanted to say. I think It really started emerging around the age of 26, that’s when Universal synchronicity started to occur more rapidly. One thing I do know though is that when my path feels cut off from being in this alignment, I feel like utterly and completely miserable.
Were you always drawn to finding truth?
Absolutely. I always felt a strong sense of justice in me and i’m extremely drawn to understanding systems. I always want to understand the true nature of things and it often got me in trouble.
When I was 15 I almost got expelled from my school because I refused to stand for the national anthem and flag at a veteran’s Memorial Day service. Not because I did not sympathize with the veterans but more because I knew the true nature of why war occurs and that they are unnecessary for human evolution and life. I was not going to sit there and support elitists getting away with the countless lives that were lost for the sake of the greed and business profit of the one percent.
It got to a point where I started to understand that the systems we were existing within were intentionally manipulated to some degree and that most people weren’t really aware of it or the role they truly played. I was not going to ignore it and spend my existence here in submission to it, saying ‘oh well it’s never going to change’. If there is a way to manipulate a system, there is a way to get back out of it, there always exists an achilles heal. People need to be reminded of their power in the grander scheme of things.
How has your voice changed the lives of your viewers?
Well I can’t speak on behalf of them but I often get messages saying thank you. Thank you for having the courage to stand up and speak your truth, to shine your light in the world. That is has inspired themselves to stand up and shine theirs too. That they never knew how to explain and simplify these topics when talking to others but that my interpretation has helped them with that process.
Of’course I do get the haters, that’s expected. A friend told me at the beginning – Automatically always expect 20% of the responses to be hate and to not take it personally. That advice has really gone a long way. But overall I get more love than hate, so that is encouraging.
How would you describe your poetry?
I would describe them as powerfully bittersweet. I understand and accept the nature of polarities and how light and dark coexist together to serve each other. I often explore the polarities of different truths in relation to the universe, spirituality, life, love, power, and growth. I’m not afraid of writing about darkness. They usually have subliminally deeper messages encoded into them. I feel like I learn something from each one of them, each allowing me to explore the inner most parts of my being in their own unique way. I also love to write about mother earth and the forgotten connection to her. I feel it has a really powerful way of uniting humans.
What type of effect do you believe you have on your audience?
I think I have mixed feelings about it to be honest. I will appeal to the ones that I am meant to be appeal too.
It has been hard breaking through the many stigmas that exist within ‘new age’ communities about how someone needs to look or act like. There is lot of judging that goes on which saddens me, it is really isn’t needed.
Regardless, I want to represent a woman who isn’t scared to enjoy fashion and self-expression and also speak about intellectual/philosophical things.
What type of change would you like to see in our world and society?
I want to see humanity evolve. For people to graduate into the realization that everything is really energy, frequency and vibration. That they are part of a collective consciousness and a lot more powerful than they think. That united we can really make a difference in this world in a positive way. For people to start accepting that they are multidimensional.
What are your plans for “The Freedom Code?
I feel like it rather has plans for me! ha-ha! I feel like it’s guiding me down a path I am meant to take. The sky is the limit to be honest, I am excited to see where it goes. For now I am just focused on continuing to speak from my heart and on building my media platforms. Although I do eventually plan to write a book.
Would you like to share anything else with us?
If you have a passion for something, make time to do it, make sure you are incorporating it into your life. Don’t ever underestimate what you are capable of doing or how powerful you are as an energy. If you want to find happiness and enjoy the journey, pay less attention to trying to please others and more attention to just being you. Just do you!
