What inspired you to create Blend America?
I started the company back in Chicago where I was born. My intent in the summer of 1989 was to create a clothing line that best represented myself and background. Growing in the city, I was exposed to all sorts of fashion billboards like Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, and Tommy Hilfiger in downtown Chicago and was really inspired by the power that these brands had over the masses. BLEND AMERICA | WOMEN
Starting a t-shirt line or clothing line for that matter isn’t easy, but finding the right models who are motivated and dedicated to the industry is a diamond in the ruff. I have been really fortunate in working with the models that I have worked with and I am truly fortunate to have crossed paths with them.
